Laurin Sydney

Laurin's expertise is the WHAT and HOW of brand story telling. She works with brands big and small in a huge range of categories: Beauty, food, fashion, lifestyle and design.

She also works with entertainment celebrities in music, television and film, as well as C-Suite executives to craft their brand messages into compelling stories, and help them communicate these stories in media, at live events, and through direct-to-consumer channels like HSN and QVC.

Laurin developed her story telling skills as an award winning journalist and anchor of CNN's live worldwide entertainment show for over 15 years. While covering the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, Tonys, and the Cannes Film Festival red carpets for over a decade, she learned the value of connecting with viewers by crafting provocative narratives that were far more engaging than, "Who are you wearing tonight?"

Laurin is a lifestyle contributor to NBC's "The Today Show," a motivational speaker at corporate and industry events, and the author of two best selling books "Why Bother, Why Not" and "Little Things Make a Big Difference," now in its 5th printing.

On a personal note, showbiz runs in her family. Her dog Mookie was given the opportunity to star in "Legally Blonde: The Musical." Knowing first-hand how tough showbiz can be on young actors, Laurin turned them down.
